W roku 2000 student AGH, Paweł Płaszczak, otrzymał nagrodę PTI za najlepszą pracę magisterską w Polsce. Paweł następnie rozwinął firmę, którą kupiła grupa Red Stack. Historia kołem się toczy – Red Stack we współpracy z PTI organizuje Wykłady Otwarte Red Stack Academy.

I will explain why people use RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) and what are the key architectural differences between Oracle Database and some of the competitors out in the RDBMS market.
Simon is the Technical Operations Director at e-DBA responsible for the global Managed Services team. Simon oversees teams of Oracle Database Administrators in UK and Poland, he is also led the expansion of the company to Australia. Simon has over 20 years of experience and is an expert in design, maintenance, and performance troubleshooting of Oracle technologies including highly available mission critical systems.

James helps customers evaluate Oracle NoSQL, BigData/Information Discovery and Engineered Systems. James holds the prestigious title of 'Oracle Certified Master’ and has been invited to present at various high profile events, in the UK, US & Australia.

We will look at some of the projects I delivered over 15 years: re-engineering and scaling of ETL processes; fixing 75000 security violations, large scale upgrade projects, proof of concepts and more. By examining the technical challenges I hope to demonstrate how rewarding and interesting it can be working with Oracle.
Philip is a Professional Services Team Lead currently working as the group database architect for a global retailer. A senior technologist and architect working with large IT estates he is responsible for design and implementation of a program of Oracle projects covering security, tooling and remediation.
